OFFER an internship to a current or former foster youth
C2i – Connections to Independence has developed an Internship program for C2i youth to gain positive work experience within the community. Youth are able to work with C2i Community Partners in an internship under supervision by someone who understands where our youth are coming from and can help them work through some of the challenges that they face in a safe environment. Working in these internships will give youth the work experience needed to get jobs later in life as well as a positive work experience to put on their resume. C2i current community partners for youth internships are KMOJ and NOC-Neighborhoods Organizing For Change. If you are interested in partnering with C2i to help provide more internship sites for youth please contact Michelle May at (612) 354-2437 ext 203.
